I LOVE Catppuccin! I use the Frappe colorscheme for every app I use (including this website!). The other thing with Catppuccin is the amazing community of developers who help make so many apps look pretty.
To start, I don't like IDEs. The tools that JetBrains apps and Visual Studio provide are great, but it was too much to handle. That eventually led me to use VS Code and Neovim, with my preferred editor being Neovim. Both options are amazing, with a great plugin environment while also being a simple text editor. The main reason that I use Neovim over VS Code is the ability to use other CLI tools, like Tmux, alongside Neovim for a cleaner development experience.
Since Microsoft began introuding Copilot as a chipset rather than an application, I have grown to dislike Windows and Microsoft in general. Despite this, I still think Windows is probably the best OS overall, and I usually develop using Windows 11 and Debian running under WSL2. However, I do have a Thinkpad, and on it I have fully embraced Arch as my OS with Hyprland as its DE (Dotfiles below).
Right now, I am in the process of setting up my Arch and Neovim setup on my laptop, so once that is done, I will link to my GitHub to access my dotfiles for Arch/Hyprland and NeoVim.
There are lots of useful learning tools that I have discovered as I have been learning and finding tools to teach, learn, and code.
